    I tried the basic recipe and must have done something wrong because the mix was too watery. I kept on having to add more and more water to make it look more like a dough. It was also a sticky mess. Today, i decided to try the bread stick recipe and it’s perfect!!!! It is literally so good. We haven’t been able to stop eating them. We’ve already eaten most is the breadsticks. Here’s a photo of the 3 that are left. I sprinkled a tiny bit of garlic powder to give them a bit more flavor before baking and they required an extra 5 minutes in the oven to fully cook.

    Delicious Bread Every Time with my Pohl Schmitt Bread Machine

    I heat up the 1 1/4 cup water to warm, pour it into the bread machine loaf maker, I add 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, then I add the 3 cups of Augason Farms Honey White Bread Scone & Roll Mix, and 2 teaspoons of instant yeast, awesome results, makes great sandwiches, toast and french toast. I get 3 loaves per tin with left over bit to add to the next loaf.
